2010 paperwork and information

The purpose of this fundraiser is to gain awareness and support for Shriners Hospitals for Children®. We are only trying to help this wonderful hospital continue operation and care for its patients.

There are no funds to recoup for this fundraiser. Everything is donated and everyone is a volunteer.

Every penny collected is going directly to Shriners Hospitals for Children® Springfield MA facility.

There is no registration fee. We just ask that you try to get others to sponsor you.

We will accept registrations the morning of the walk but if possible please pre- register online by May 15 to help us plan for food and prizes.

The walk will take place on Saturday June 5 on the Toonerville Trail in Springfield, VT. It is an 'easy' 3.1 mile walk.

Parking is available at the trail head located at the Robert S Jones Industrial Building/ PCM Image-Tech, 280 Clinton St., Springfield, VT.

Registration starts at 9:30 and the walk starts at 10. We are walking rain or shine so please dress accordingly.

Dogs are welcome on the Toonerville Trail provided: they are leashed and under the owners control at all times, they are friendly towards other animals and people, and owners must bring AND USE their own poopie pick-up stuff.

SHrINE ON t-shirts will be awarded to participants as they arrive while supplies last.

There will be extra bonus goodies/awards for participants in various categories.

We will also be having a “thank you party” after the walk. Details will be given out at the walk. Food and fun for all ages. (Maybe some water activities)

You can also help by saving your aluminum can tabs for TABS FOR TAYLOR. The L.O.S.N.A. recycle the tabs to purchase things ranging from toys, books and TVs to X-ray machines, IV pumps and other medical equipment for the Shriners Hospitals. Since the program started 20 years ago, over a billion tabs have been collected, totaling approx 636,792 pounds. Our TABS FOR TAYLOR tab drive has contributed about 243,000 tabs since June 2009.
